The Xenoborg Dev Blog

Yeah, it's about time I wrote a blog about Xenoborg. I never realized that so many people were having such high hopes for it, and I'd really hate to let everybody down. So, I'm putting up this blog. The purpose of this blog isn't to show off what it can do (it won't play JSRF for a while, sorry) but rather to explain more of the dev related stuff like source code, coding techniques, technical details, inner workings, etc. The actual news of releases and updates will be announced on the official forums located here:

Feel free to join the forums and ask questions, but don't bug me about release dates, updates that favour the playablility of your favourite game, and requests for pirated games.

Just thought I'd put this info out there.

  1. Hey, just writing to annoyingly remind you that an LLE X-Box emulator is still cool and awesome and important. So, you know, be annoyed. More importantly, be posting more details about Xenoborg development!

Tell us of the trials of coaxing the NV2A to divulge its secrets; of the tears you've shed trying to make sound work; of the sing-song jeers from the schoolchildren on the other side of the fence as you walk home in slow motion: "96 can't emm-you-late ex-eighty-six! 96 can't emm-you-late ex-eighty-six!"

TBH I only ask because I find the project extremely fascinating, and think that you are at least ten times as awesome as I am for working on it. I don't need to know when I can play teh haloz on my PC, I just want to pick your brain.

  2. Good luck on this project. It's good to see that you chose to work on it again and I hope you will make it success.

  3. I have only one question...Will I need a dual core processor for this emulator?Cxbx emulator is working great with Futurama and Turok Evolution on my AMD Semrpon 2400+...What SVN i need to have for Robotech Battlecr...
